Week 9 Blog Post - Instructions - Mug Cake

A mug cake is when you put all of the ingredients in a cup and then cook them in a microwave.

Mug Cake

Ingredients:

One egg
A quarter of a cup of sugar
2 tablespoons of cocoa
A mug

Materials:
Mug
Teaspoon
Fork
Microwave
Cocoa

Instructions:

Crack the egg into the mug.
Beat the egg into the mug with a fork.
Have one quarter of a cup of sugar and put in to the mug.
Have either one tablespoon of cocoa or one and a half or two tablespoons. and put it into the mug.
Have a microwave and put the mug in it for 60 sec to 90 seconds.

Week 7 Blog post

Last Saturday we played rugby and we vs Shirley vikings. Logan Hammond Jordan fearon James Goggin and Adam Walker. We won 52 to 19 and I played fullback in the first half and in the second half i played first five.It was a good game I scored a try and after Max Hammet came over to my house

Week 5 blog post

 This last week we have been doing a Caritas challenge and you can go to the blog that I did it onCaritas challenge. This week we have to fill out a form about the Caritas challenge and you have to talk about twelve facts about Timorleste and some bullet points about how clean the water is and how much food Timorleste has and more. We are learning to write explanations to help us with explaining topics.

Kaikoura W1 free choice

In the first week of the holidays my Family went to Kaikoura and we had a batch over in South bay. When we got there we just mucked around got stuff ready and played on the iPad then it was bed time.
The next day me and dad went surfing and we surfed every day and it was really fun we also swam with dolphins it was really fun, I loved it I touched it twice. The skin came off and I had some dolphin skin on my finger nail. When we got back from Kaikoura We had two days at home then we went to Rotorua. We went to my Granny's house and there was a gondola right beside it so me Holly and my cousin Jake went everyday. We went on the luge and the lines were from here to Africa but we waited there was a scenic track a intermediate track and an advanced. The advanced was the best but it shuts at like after lunch and the intermediate track someone broke their leg and i don't know how that happen but we did. Then we went on the night luge and it was at night and it was really fun because it was dark And half the time you didn't know where your going.

Caritas Challenge

In term two week three we did a Caritas challenge. It's when you have 24 hours sleeping in a box to help fundraise for any country you want. Our school did a Caritas challenge for Timor-leste and first it was anti bulling week so we had a assembly week for the sweat it group [me. We had to talk about it and we watched some videos about it. There were groups based around certain things like the move it group. They setup sport and the sweat it group [us] we had to setup a second hand market. But I stayed from 9 till 3 because I had sport in the morning. After all that it was lunch time and we didn't have something to eat but it was ok because that is how the people in Timor-Leste live.

Science fair question

In week 2 we did science we had to do a hypothesis and background research about our science fair question. Mine is can you design a kite that works in low or no winds. Here is my hypothesis and background research.

Hypothesis:
I think that it will work and it will go for 30 seconds maybe more I hope that I can it can fly for a while for the audience to be amazed about my project.

Background research:

Kites are a  fun thing to use because when it's a windy day you can go to the beach and fly
it.Kites can now be used in different ways like some kites our used to lift and up all things
up. Kites our used depending on it's goal maybe the goal of some kites are   designed to
take people that our injured but a helicopter over it.

But it's annoying that if there is no wind like in most days then I have a solution for that.

Free choice blog Week 3

In the weekend on Saturday we had a game of Rugby againsed Linwood and it was at 11:30 at Linwood park. I played first five for the first half and wing in the second. I think that wing was alright but id rather first five any day.The score was 50 to 17 they got a thrashing but in the first half it was 23 to 17 and they came back but in the second half we dominated.
